Basurero

Basurero tells the story of Bong, a fisherman living in an urban fishing village on the outskirts of Manila. Struggling to make ends meet, he resorts to disposing of bodies for faceless vigilantes tied to the drug war.

As the narrative unfolds, Bong grapples with his growing guilt, which intensifies when the violence hits close to home—his neighbor is brutally killed for selling shabu (crystal meth), forcing Bong to confront the dark reality of his actions.
